Guitar Hero World Tour
So we headed downtown today to get "Guitar Hero World Tour" among other things we needed (and a yummy lunch at Subways as usual ;) and I must say we're quite happy with the game so far. Jeroen was frustrated that the cymbals were not receptive enough, but once he discovered that he was not hitting them in the right place, then he tried again and things went smoother from there.
It's been fun to play along, I gave it a go on the drums as well but I got no rhythm and coordination LOL, I guess I gotta get used to it. It's a bit late to be drumming around though, and I dunno how much the neighbors can hear, so I'll try again tomorrow.
The weather's been very cold, we had our share of snow showers today while waiting for the damn bus (which was about 15 mins late on our way to town, and never showed up on our way back home and we were there for 45 minutes standing in the fucking cold) I swear I gotta get rid of my fear of driving into town in the weekends, because going by bus SUCKS and it's unreliable as hell. :P And it's just that time of the year where everyone gets in carrying huge baby buggies and loads of shit they bought (or huuuuuge 'guitar hero world tour' boxes *cough*) and if one bus fails to show up, you just know the next one is going to be packed like hell. Which is what happened today. Ugh, I was in such a bad mood...
But luckily a set of warm slippers, a glass of warm sake and a few rounds of the new game lifted my spirits up. :)
