As my junior year came to a close today, walking through the halls I realized we only have one more year here, 180 days to see the people we see everyday, that we sometimes take for granted not to even say hey each day, because maybe were having a bad day, so we take it out on everyone else or we think were "too" good to say hey to them, because the person your walking with or the people around will say oh my she's friends with them. Who cares, seriously some of you people i've watched and observed this year think your too good for everyone else, just to let you know it makes you look really immature, and lame- your only too good for others in your book, everyone is equal. I've learned that high school is filled with more drama then some think would last a life time, people talk, people judge, but thats "humans" for you. I've learned alot, like who you can trust, who will always be there for you, how quickly people change and turn on you. I've learned alot about the real world too, like getting a job, i've learned how to face people in reality not just the 4,000+ teenagers I see everyday, and my family. People are totally different then you think they are, i've always thought to a point that everyone was almost the same, just a fairly different personality, let me tell you i was totally wrong. Anyways, I realized after watching all our seniors walk this year how it's good and bad. It's only been a week since they graduated and some are hysterical. Because everyone's going their separate ways and some you'll never see again. This year has been a rollercoaster but overall I think it was pretty amazing. I can't wait to live up this summer and have a good time. So to all of you have fun, be safe, don't party too much, and enjoy life you never know how long or short life may be for yourself, and your loved ones.
Excited/Curious,
Kristin Martin
