[video clicks on and shuffling is heard in the background before Tyke pops up on the screen. Hands appear from the side and shoo him out of the center of the video before Okita appears, taking a seat on the edge of the bed. He waves and smiles, dressed all in white]
Did you all win? I'm betting you did. You're all very strong, especially you, Hijikata-san. I hope you won with minimal causalities, but knowing Kuro and his cohorts, it was a difficult battle.
Maybe this video will come too late, but I thought it best to allow Hijikata-san to focus on the task at hand. It will be a long while before I come back. I have...things I need to settle before I'm able to return, and I don't know what condition I'll be in when I do. While I'm gone, however, I was hoping some of you could do me a favor?
Someone, please, check on Hijiakta-san. He'll be a fool about this whole thing and probably run himself into the ground. Hijikata-san? Make sure not to damage your health before I come back. I'll be very disappointed in you if you don't eat or sleep or generally take good care of yourself.

[looking off to the side, he falls silent for a minute or two] I'm sorry, everyone. What I'm about to do, what I did - it's going to start something unpleasant. I hope that what I will do will help you all. Fight hard, don't falter - together, you'll all stronger than you believe.
[he stands and disappears off screen, calling to Tyke] Let's go for a walk, hm? I feel like a walk...
