I think he would kill you for calling him that. You're not Kondou-san and you're not Yamanami-san and those are the only two people he allows to call him anything but Hijikata-san, Vice Commander, or Sir.

And I like my Hijikata-san. But he worries too much. He's like a giant ball of worry stuffed inside a tobacco shell. His tobacco smells bad, too.

My midsection got slahed and my insides were about to fall out. That and two gut attacks, plus one that went clean through my body. I think I should be happy enough being alive for now.
