A blog is an online journal~ Like a diary on the Internet, except it's not private, and lots of people can come and comment on what you write. It's cool~

Wait. Isn't a diary supposed to be about what you really think?

It can be. But in a blog, you don't need to write everything you feel, since you might not want other people to read all that. That's why "blog" and "diary" are different words~ It's really just another way to socialise, I think - you just get to reveal more about yourself in your post.

Sort of! Except in a blog it's more like... Hmm.

Okay, so, like - Miwako writes an entire entry about her day and what she thinks about the Yazagaku senior fashion show, and it's long.

Then Caroline replies to Miwako's entry in a comment, but it's short. It's kind of like she's reviewing the blog entry, agreeing, disagreeing, telling Miwako what she thought about it, too. And then we talk in comments.

And then we do the same thing when George comments, and when Isabella comments, and when Arashi comments, and so on.

Does that make sense? It's sort of like what happened right now!

Well, because it's a blog, you can use it however you want, I think.

Like Miwako used this blog to ask for directions, see?

Or it could just be like, "What did you guys think about the senior fashion show?" Or "Happy Birthday, Isabella!" or whatever you want. I think.

Someone told Miwako to be wary of crazy otaku on the Internet. Should she avoid them on the Network, too?

How do you describe an otaku...? Cosplay?

But Miwako's cosplayed before, and she's not otaku.

And Miwako plays video games, too-

Manga? No, no, Zipper isn't a magazine for otaku, and that's where-
