OUCH!
A very frantic boyf called me early yesterday morning, and wailed, "I ruined my shirt!! My Burberry shirt! AAArgh!!" I almost burst into laughter but knowing the "severity" of the situation, I asked him how it happened. He's been fretting about a couple of stains on the shirt (and no, I had nothing to do with the abovementioned stains) and he decided to take matters into his own hands. So he decided to bleach the shirt in hope that the stains will disappear.
Alas, after a 20min soak, not only did the shirt lose the stains, it also lost its trademark checks. Now, before you go "So what?", let me remind you it's a Burberry shirt which he loved to bits and any fashionista worth her salt would know the feeling of having destroyed a piece of high fashion. Imagine having broken a heel off from a pair of Manolos.. Oh, the horrors!
Needless to say, the boyf then became very depressed, and easily agitated. Even the trip to town to look for a replacement shirt did not cheer him up. In the end, we left town with no purchases but a very important lesson:
FASHION LESSON NUMERO DEUX : NEVER, and I mean NEVER, take matters into your own hands when it involves a 200 dollar shirt or anything with a label. Giordano doesn’t count; you can ruin it all you want. :D

P/s Sorry for the absence but yours truly has been running around the office, getting it prepared to welcome two newcomers. Now, am I not the most gracious host around? And oh, the boyf just left for Brunei.. I say, shall we get naughty, darlings? ;)
