This just might be my favorite The GazettE author, so expect more recs from her. The characters are just beautiful. Beautiful and human and complete with various thoughts and insights on life. Reitas life here feels so incredibly real here - watching TV, getting stupid texts from Uruha, practice with Kai, getting lost in thoughts. Rukis melodramatic insights, Uruhas hair, Aois witty remarks and Kai. Kai that's in so many way everything I think Kai is in my mind. There's no end to what I could quote from this of what makes Kai Kai, because wow. It's not only a Kai. It's a Kai that's changed like Kai seems to have, and it's a Kai that can change again, because everything changes and Reita doesn't and dfghj. I feel like it's a theme to this too. Can you see it? The red thread. The red thread. That my teachers lectured me about for three years but I didn't completely grasp the concept until I found this author, because she has grasped it and completed it.
There isn't that much happening, not really. People change and change back. Life goes on. But reading this just might have made my day a whole lot brighter.
