when the fire burns

Tonights the night
when the fire burns
heat pouring through the building
the nightly air unturned
its kisses caressing the melting skin
its frame stretched out like there is no end
blades spinning slowly
no wind yet stirred

tonight is the night
when the fire burns
the heat becoming umbarable
screaming through the night
yet no sound to be heard
no how in the wind to carry it on
no breeze to blow it through

tonight is the night
when the fire burns
ticking down the seconds
ntil one cannot bare anymore

tonights the night when no wind howls
rivers perspiring down shoulder blades
tonights the night
when the fire burns
