I think its special, what's behind your back

I've been working pretty hard on my writing lately. I'm really driven to get my novel finished by September. This is a summer of sacrifice, but its worth it. Every word of it. I want to be a published author by 2013. Even if it is just digitally. I want to get my writing out into the world. I have started to work on my book everyday. If I'm not in the mood to write at first, I do writing prompts until I'm ready to write...as you can tell, I haven't need any in exactly a week. *knocks on wood* I hate the Writer's Block but the Writer's prompts are fun to do.

If my book does well, I'll have the money to go to Paris next year without really trying - well, I guess if you add in all the writing and editing, I tried a Hell of a lot. I'm so excited but at the same time, nervous. This is my first publication, I don't want it to get in the wrong hands.

The picture above is all of Chapter One after edit 1. I'm going to have to make it into five chapters because I added way too much to each part. Oh, well. I expected there to be more than 15 chapters. At this rate, there will be 75? Is that right? Eep! I'm going to have to do some serious editing. Blerg. Writing really isn't as easy as it looks. Trust me. There is as much labor in it than anything else you work hard at. I wouldn't give this up for anything in the world.

Chapter One Word Count:

Rough Copy: 6,606 words
1st Edit: 18,279 words

In other words, I added 11,673 words to it in a matter of four days...how come I can't do this when NaNoWriMo is on??

word count, nanowrimo, writing, paris, publishing, pa, writer's block
