I was surfing wikipedia today as an offshoot of reading my livejournal friends list, as sometimes happens. As a tangant from reading this Candy Is Awesome post I came upon a wikipedia article for Kompeito.

This looks awesome! Has anyone enjoyed Kompeito? Even since I was a small child I had a near obsessive fascination with Roald Dahl's Everlasting Gobstopper and it appears that Kompeito may be the next best thing.
