ah, well. trust that i envy anyone possessing commonsenseish things...daily do i burn myself (sticking fingers in boiling water)/get headaches (walking into walls)/offend people (forget that Tact exists).

I agree completely. Tact has a way of sort of disappearing with me. Five minutes later I'll be like, "Wow, that was really rude of me," but at the moment there is never a such thing as tact.

what is with taking a month to grade the sats? the essays are not that bad! they take 25 min to write but 4 weeks to grade?!?!

I KNOW RIGHT.
it takes, like, five minutes. total. for Everything.
and Dude. gov school? the auditions take One Day. and even if i give them One More Day to speak amongst themselves re auditions, and then One Fucking More for collaboration with other-county People...it doesn't take a fucking two months.

i hate people.
