committee did go well, though. we (ginny & i as lithuania) effectively allied the Malleables (read: delegates who a) don't know their foreign policy, b) don't understand the topic, and/or c) are staunch supporters of a resolution/working paper based on their like/dislike of its writers) after turning away from the US/Russia/Jamaica (don't ask how that happened) coalition because of Dumb. seriously. who likes russia. and if anyone likes russia, it sure as fuckhell isn't the US.
the topic was Patents and Access to Pharmaceuticals within the World Intellectual Property Organization...the latter group proposed that companies give up a piece of their profit to donate to developing nations...which was Bullshit. lame people are dumb. and vice versa.
not that it matters to anyone else. but. after spending 25 hours in committee, i can't help it.
