1. Abstinance.... okay, that sounds weird. But, it's been almost 10 years since I signed my True Love Waits agreement, and my virginity is still one of my most prized possessions.
2. Accessories.... I love my pearls, my dangling gold earrings, my bracelets and glasses.... They bring an outfit together. :)
3. Aches....this sounds weird, too, but I really like to have aches and pains and sore muscles- it means I've been working hard!
4. Aretha Franklin.... Does she really need any explanation?? I mean, what a woman!
5. Acquaintances.... I love my friends. I love meeting new people. I love people in general!
6. Achievement.... I like to know that I'm working for a reason. I, like, everyone else in the world, like to get ahead. Like, recently, I made Wind Ensemble. I'm stoked. My work's paid off!
7. Ani Difranco.... another amazing woman. Her music, her work for feminism... She's fabulous.
8. Anberlin.... I know I keep naming bands/musicians that start with A, but it just so happens that my favorite music right now all starts with A, oddly enough.
9. Advil.... dude, I love advil. Because as much as I like aches and pains, I really like to move like a normal person, I like to sit down without hurting :)
10. adorable boys...you know the kind. The kind that makes you so angry, annoys you so much, but in the next sentence will do or say something SO cute, you can't help but laugh at them. :) I like those boys.
I haven't posted in a while, so....
Things are phenomenal.
The boy situation isn't progressing, but we'll see- I'm not too worried right now.
My wind ensemble audition wasn't as bad as I thought- Because I made it. I'm sitting 4th chair.... thank God, too, because I'm definitely a low horn player.
Marching band ends for good Sunday. I'm STOKED. I mean, I love mello and I love marching, but I do not love the PRIDE anymore. :) then again, everyone feels like this at the end of the season.
SAI is going well. The babies had their first meeting. I didn't get to go, because I was on the way back from Kentucky.
And speaking of Kentucky.
I just want to tell you how much I love Southwind Drum and Bugle Corps.
I love that so many people were anxious to get to know me, to meet me, to talk with me.
Even the staff got to know me.
I love it there.
The mello line is AMAZING. They're so badass.
I was pleasantly surprised with how awesome they are.
ANYWAY
They didn't give out contracts to the hornline.
Instead, they're bringing the people from both audition camps back in December and we have to audition again.
No big deal. I'll work my ass off just like last camp.
Only this time, I'll kick more ass because I've been doing burn-outs and pushups and abs....
I'm gonna start running again after this weekend.
God, I'm so excited.
Uh.... I think that's all.
I might go do one more burn-out before I pass out or something.
I'm real bored. :)
