welcome to the foozer concert! - Rivers
its been a long weekend. but omg...soooooooo awesomse.
we left saturday afternoon. we being me, alia, josh and megan. we got into alias car and headed toward st. pete. the trip down wasnt bad at all and we made it there in pretty good time. but yeah...ill step aside all the boring stuff. we spent the nite at alias house, went to the beach saturday nite, it was gorgeous out and then basically chilled sunday, oh and we ate...a lot.
then comes the amazing part. we get to the concert, for those who dont know we went to tampa to see weezer and the foo fighters. so we get into the arena and sit down. our seats are pretty sweet. we were sitting in the first level above the floor on the sides, so we had a pretty damn good view. we got there about 40 minutes early and as im sitting down, i dont remember where i heard it but i find out that Mae is opening the concert. HOLY CRAP I LOVE THEM. well, ok, i cant really say that, ive heard some of their stuff and i really like it but there is one song of theirs that has to be in my top 5 favorite songs right now. oh man. so theyre playing and theyre not playing my song. and i figured that was because it was like a b-side track thats not released and shit, so i was like whatever. kinda bummed but ok. and then...they start their last song...and its it...its the song...i screamed i was so excited. they were awesome. yay!!!
so then a half hour later weezer came on. let me tell you. these guys are fucking awesome. they are such a good live band and all of them sang songs and they did all of their hits and i dont even know what else to say about them. oh my goodness. the line from the subject line was something rivers said during the show last nite. i thought it was really funny. weezer = ♥
so thennnnn...the foo fighters come out. i ♥ dave grohl. that man is so sexy. ::growl:: he loves the word fuck. lol. i think he says it like every other word that comes out of his mouth. but yeah....AMAZING!!! oh man...he came out and did an acoustic version of everlong and the entire arena was singing along with him. and travis, they did a cover of a credence clearwater revival song...i think it was "born on the bayou". but i thought of you when they were singing it lol. but yeah...they were awesome. actually awesome is a very large understatement.. there are no words.
so yeah...im soooooo happy we went to that concert!!! yay!!!
but with every good comes a shitty. i started feeling crappy the other nite and thought i was gunna die during the concert, but yeah...im so sick now. we got back this morning at 330 and i passed out...woke up at 8 with a crazy fever and now im at school. why? cuz school sux and i cant miss notes or ill fail. grrrr. but yeah. i have some tylenol in me from this morning but i think thats starting to wear off now. ugh, ill have to get some more out of my bag. i just hate feeling like shit. i can barely hear, i cant breathe out of my nose well and my eyes will barely open.. grrness. but whatever. i saw mae, weezer and the foo fighters last nite...so that will get me thru the day. :)
ok, well i think im gunna go continue writing a letter i had started earlier.
