I don't know the mythology of Tarzan, but the first thing I thought of after reading this was "Watch out for that.. tree." and while writing this I realized you did input that into the story as well, with Layton struggling with the jungle's creepy crawly vines.

Thanks for the comment!

It was originally a novel, I believe. That's about all I know, except that everyone always wants to know why Tarzan doesn't have a beard xD AND NO PLUNNIES I WILL NOT HAVE LAYTON MEET GEORGE OF THE JUNGLE

*sulks*

Tarzan is an old story, probably used to be just a oral tradition. I mostly recall it from Mythbusters, which refrenced it as an old TV show when they tested the myth about quicksand, and of course the Disney movie that I haven't seen.

probably wanted the 'wild man' to have a clean-cut appearance, so they didn't give him a beard [/overthinking] but yea, first thought when I hear of a jungle-man is George heh I think I like humor better than the overdrawn tales.

lol attack my plunnie minions! :p *one or two rabbits hop towards Candy* I think my muses like having plunnie-hunts and killing them off, so I don't have many :(

Ooh, combine plunnies YGO polymerization background .. *stabs BG*

*laughs at Candy-sulk and exits to try his own writing*

Stories of humans being raised by wild animals are as old as stories themselves, I think XD But his first appearance in story-form was in the early 1900s, in the book Tarzan of the Apes by Edgar Rice Borroughs.

George of the Jungle is amazing, though :DDD

*sticks tongue at you, IS TOTALLY ACTING MY AGE*
