He had better have cooled off! Heiji is the only guy friend he has! The little loner! Heiji is like a brother...and brothers sometimes make mistakes. I think someone...maybe Kazuha should totally come over and read Shinichi the riot act and name all the times Heiji has helped him. There is a looong list Mr. Kudo. Looooong.

That said, I still love you Shinichi.

And as always...this fic rocked, hon! New territory. Maybe there should be a reverse fic? Where Heiji is furious with Shinichi? I have a feeling Heiji's anger would be more...fiery. *laugh*

Shinichi is a loner, but he also seems fairly private (in spite of his celebrity status), especially with the Conan thing. So for Heiji to spill that, even in the sense of trying to help, is a cardinal sin. I'm sure Shinichi will calm down eventually, but it might be a while.

I realized that most of these have been all hunky-dory in terms of their friendship. But friendships do have rocky moments, and those are as important to friendships as the good times. It had to be done.

*glomps* This was great! No fluff, no wibbles, no angst, just pissed-offness! Let the verbal fists fly, I say! This was also remarkably realistic, in that we could appreciate both characters' motivations, yet see where they both fall short. (Though I do hope they make up.) Great job!

Thank you so much! *snuggles* While I think Shinichi's pride is going to make him stay angry for a while, my intuition tells me that eventually they make back up. Whether they do it on their own or the girls have to step in, I don't know. Although that would be funny...

Every good friendship has its bad moments, but what makes it a Real friendship is the part where you work things out again so...

I thing Heijis and Shinichis relation is strong! >__< hell they are almost like brothers, so i do believe that after some time to cool down, a little push from Kazuha + Ran and a loooong talk everything will be fine again~

*nod* I agree. The plunnies just...didn't give me anything beyond this scene. I assume at some point they'll work it out. And the more I think about it, the more convinced I am that Shinichi's more angry at the circumstances than at Heiji. But Heiji's a convenient target, and so he bears the brunt of it. So I do suspect that at some point they'll work it out ^_~
