What's up
What is going on in my life? well....
James has entered boy scouts, good for him, not so much for me, lol. He is really enjoying it and although I think all the boys are a bunch of DORKS, he loves it. He just walked 5 miles at night with them to earn a badge. I am so proud of him.
Jordan had try-outs today for fast pitch softball. Things come easy to her if she just puts a little effort forth so I think she will do REALLY well. She has always been athletic, if she puts her mind to it, she will kick ass.
Ty leaves for Iraq next Friday. I'm not sure how I feel about that. HE has been home for about 9 months, and we have been getting along great. HE started to get on my nerves a little right before Christmas, but that has past. He wants to go, feels that he needs to go, that he has unfinished business there. Oh we found out recently that the last time he was there he was nominated for a Bronze star. I guess that is like the 3rd highest award you can be awarded, I am proud of him. I know the kids and I will be fine without him here, I can handle the household and all that. The kids will miss him and it will be hard for them but they are good strong kids and we will make it.
I am battling with my weight, still. I have lost alot, about 60 pounds, but I still feel fat and ugly and unworthy. I think no matter what size I become in the long run, I will always feel like a fat person.
Tammy and I have started a business, we will be making quilts and quilted products, such as stockings and place mats. Mostly in patriotic patterns, and half of everything we make will be going to the Susan G. Komen breast cancer 3 day walk. We are planing to walk that walk in Nov. I hope I am in shape enough by then, 60 miles in 3 days is alot.
I would really love a day at the spa, a massage and facial and some all around pampering is in order. I don't think that will happen any time some, since I will have no babysitter for about a year, lol.
