Max rolled her eyes.
Really, who knew Transgenics could get drunk?! Granted, she had never put that much effort into trying, but it had still come as quite a shock to watch Alec go from sober, to drunk off his ass, serenading random people. When he had dropped to one knee in front of her, she knew it was time to go.
"I should have named you Romeo."
His eyes sparkled in mirth. "But who would be my Juliet?"
Max kept quiet, afraid she'd do something stupid, like volunteer.
