Summary: Owen and Tosh overhear Jack and Ianto in Jack’s office.
Author's Notes: It’s been a long time since I last wrote anything because a hectic real life kept getting in the way. I hope you like!
“OW!”
Owen paused outside Jack’s office as he heard the Teaboy cry out in pain.
“Don’t put that there Jack! That is NOT where it is supposed to go!”
“Come on Ianto, we both know that it feels good.”
Owen’s eyes widened and he moved closer to the door, ready to interrupt if it sounded like Jack was forcing the Teaboy to do something he didn’t want to. He might tease the Teaboy but he didn’t want him hurt and it was his job as a doctor to keep him healthy.
“Try turning it a little....no, the other way. Much better! Push it in now Jack.”
“You have to be very careful. Go a little slower.”
Owen was listening to Jack soothing Ianto and jumped when Tosh suddenly appeared beside him.
“What’s going on?” Tosh asked, leaning to get closer to the door.
“I heard Ianto cry out in pain and then it sounded like Jack was forcing him to do something, and now I think they’re...” Owen trailed off as he heard Ianto start swearing.
“You have to use light touches Ianto. Very light and slow. Not hard and fast.”
“I’ve got it Jack. I know what to do.”
“It shouldn’t be this hard Ianto. It should NEVER be this hard. Can’t you help me out yet?”
“No, Jack. You have to take care of it yourself.”
“But it’s so much better when you do it for me.”
Owen and Tosh stared at each other wide-eyed
“Has Jack done something to piss of Ianto lately?” Owen whispered, not wanting the men in the office to hear him.
“Not that I know of,” Tosh whispered back, pressing her ear against the door to hear better.
“What are you doing? No, it won’t work like that, you have to shift a little more.”
“Get back to doing your part Jack, I know how to do it and at this rate I’m going to finish first.”
“There you go Ianto. Pull it out, pull it out, pull it out!”
“I’m almost done Jack, you better hurry up.”
“Done!”
Tosh and Owen heard both men shout simultaneously and scrambled away from the door when it started to open.
“Tosh, Owen.” Ianto nodded at them as he slipped out of Jack’s office, fidgeting with his tie to get it perfectly into place. “I’ll have coffee ready for you in a few minutes.”
Tosh peered into Jack’s office and her mouth dropped open.
“You were playing Operation?” Tosh asked as she watched Jack pack the game away.
“No, Ianto was playing Operation. I was doing the puzzle.”
Jack motioned toward the other corner of the office which was dominated by a large table covered in the biggest puzzle Tosh had ever seen.
“Ianto and I had a bet on who could complete their task first. It was a tie so we have to think of another task. Do you have any ideas?”
“I’ll think about it.” Tosh said. “What does the winner get?”
“They get to decide what happens for our next date.”
“All this over what to do for a date?”
“We have to keep it interesting somehow. And weevil hunting is getting kind of dull.” Ianto said, handing Tosh her coffee. “Now if you’ll excuse us, we’re expecting a call from the Prime Minister. Dinner tonight at eight okay?”
“Sounds good Ianto. Have fun with your call.”
“It’s always fun with Jack around.”
