ten reasons you know you're finally out of high school and on your way to college

10. TA doesnt mean "teacher advisor" anymore.
9. It's okay to dance dirty--no one will say "HEY YOU'RE DANCING TOO CLOSE TO THAT BOY!" and pull you apart.
8. Your teachers go from saying "This college-level course is to prep you for college ..." to "This course is to help you with your other classes ..." because you're IN college.
7. You're allowed to wear "loud" shirts.  BIZNATCHHHHHHHHH!
6. You start fighting more with your family about stupid things because you're preparing for a roommate.
5. You can answer phone during a class (you can HAVE a phone ON during class ... and out).
4. Girls can live right across the hall from guys.  No more floor-separation-by-sexes.
3. You start saying "FACEBOOK ME, OKAY?!" instead of "FIND ME ON MYSPACE!"
2. You suddenly have an excess of school pride.

And the top reason you realize you're not in high school anymore?
1. You pass by your old high school--and you can't call it your school anymore.
it just hit me .. that we're not in high school anymore.  i havent really cried yet, until now, about leaving everyone and going on to college.

and then i listened to all-american rejects' "move along," and i started bawling.

bye, everyone.  thanks for the ups and downs in high school.  love love love <3
