First half down, and one more photoshoot to go in the grand finale of Candybar's Next Top Model!
In the last photoshoot you focused on the commercial side of modeling. However for this shoot we will face Modeling gratia artis--modeling for the sake of art. Now it's time to show your high fashion on
The Runway
The final photoshoot of Candybar's Next Top Models will be your chance to show us every aspect of you that the designers will love.
Give us a sample of your signature walk and your fierce poses. At least one of your photographs MUST be walking and one MUST be giving us a fierce pose. The other two can be either category. Keep in mind, the clothes must be edited to fit or made from scratch the designers assigned. We want this to be YOUR creative expression.
We will assign you four designers for which you are modeling and we will give you some inspiration. Each of these designers is different and has a different style. You will be creating single pieces from four different shows. Be prepared to show us your stuff in extreme unwearable couture, a modern twist on the 20s or 30s, high fashion, and beachwear (As we ARE in Brazil!).
We want four separate pictures. Each picture must feature a different runway based on the designer's style.
Include your name, and the designers names/lines/show names on your image. The result should be reminiscent of
Bethany's collage last cycle.
This is a big project. Let's recap.
One walking
One posing
Two walking or posing (Your choice)
(FOUR TOTAL IMAGES)
Different backgrounds based on designer and show.
Presented in one image.
Extreme editing.
Here are your assignments:
Davra Ada - At the birth of Haute Couture, a master was found. Davra's dark influence has shadowed over everything from Eastern influence to Romanesque gowns. Each piece is an original piece of artwork that will not be reproduced and isn't practical in a real world application, but that doesn't keep Ada from putting forth fashion for the sake of fashion.
Revivé by Chelle Masterson - Chelle's obsession with black and white films is evident in her designs. Since 2001 she has been updating old looks and bringing back the fashion from the past. Lately her fashions have dabbled in the 20s and 30s. Her strengths lie not in experimenting with edgy looks, but adapting vintage vibes so they're wearable and gorgeous.
Poison Candy - Alexander Hudson and Jacob Oldham's latest show Poison Candy is the duo's most cutting edge show yet. Expect to see a grungy look, one of a kind clothing, and a focus on punk while still being high fashion. They morph the two solo designer's love for androgyny with Oldham's obsession with strength.
Sele Alancar - Characterized by transparent dresses, classy beachwear, and a Mediterranean influence on his color palette, Alancar's latest line is his experiment with Brazilian's spice. Abandoning his comfort zone in design, he's starting to experiment in the bright colors and sexy cuts, while still maintaining his personality in the clothing. Expect sexy beach dresses or boardwalk sarongs.
