Well, it's only natural for Asians to be pretty short. :P Like myself, my relatives consider me to be pretty tall, but in my desk at school, my feet don't touch the floor! And lol, China does look like a communist. Maybe you can dress up in his casual outfit instead? I'm assuming you're Chinese, so maybe you can ask your parents or relatives if they have any traditional clothing you can borrow. Yes, it's less recognizable than his uniform, but I think it's your best bet. You can even include a Shinatty-chan, too! Just take something Hello Kitty and draw a "nihilistic smile" on it.
Pfft, not allowed to post pics online. :P Maybe I can do a quick drawing then post it or something. I guess I'm joining the bigger one, because I don't know the smaller one(s).
Get digital. :K I got a disposable camera, and I ran out.
Of course we can meet. :D We should decide on a time, though it would be easier (and safer, don't want my parents getting mad at me for attempting to meet someone I only know online) if we could just go to the Hetalia gathering.

Ah, we're Chinese, but only by blood-- alot of our culture is Vietnamese dominant Chinese and my parents aren't even very traditional about that. So, no traditional dress! (although I wanted one so bad when I was younger~)
Hetalia gathering is what i'm aiming for-- but I have no cosplay, so I don't know if I should be there, or..?
AX this year is DEFINITELY a goal for me now.

Oh well. But maybe you can dress up as Shinatty-chan, then? xP Simple costume. Well, I'm sure it won't be just Hetalia cosplayers there. If we like, meet before that I could say you're a friend or something. Or you can just say you heard about it and wanted to take photos (like aforementioned, it won't just be cosplayers there, because...well, you've been a con before. photographers flock when they see huge groups).

Shinatty-chan's supposed to be BUFF, I don't think i'll be able to fit in his shoes~ It'd be so nice to find a random China cosplayer to cuddle me throughout the con though ♥
I could be a photographer! I don't have a nice camera or anything, and I might look out of place, but I HAVE TO BE THERE. MOST DEF'. T__T
Decide on someone soon, it's only 6 months away..!

Well, not having the right physique has never stopped anyone from cosplaying before. If you've been browsing around on the hetalia comm, there was this one huge cosplay gathering and this one girl actually dressed up as Hana-tamago.
I think that a lot of us cosplayers will appreciate it, since most of us love getting pictures taken (...in costume, at least) and they don't have to step aside out of group photo ops to take a picture.
I know, but it's so hard. D: WWII uniform patterns, y so hard to find?!
