"Which song lyrics send shivers down your spine and really hit you emotionally?"

There's so much music that I listen to that could fit this category, so i'm not sure if I can find one specific example. But it would either be something from Jack's Mannequin or The Fray, hands down (occasionally Modest Mouse & Say Anything, but they're more for when i'm angry). So let me google up some examples.

I recommend you Youtube all of those artists, okay? keke
This list turned out to just be purely Modest Mouse-- i'm a loser.

Black Cadillacs:
And we were laughing at the stars
while our feet clung tight to the ground,
so pleased with ourselves
for using so many verbs and nouns.

Bukowski:
Well see what you want to see, you should see it all
And take what you want from me, you should have it all
and 9 times out of 10, our hearts just get dissolved
well I want a better place, or just a better way to fall.

Parting of the Sensory:
someday something will die and
somehow you'll figure out how often
you will die somehow and something's going to steal your carbon

Bury Me With It:
we were aiming at the moon we were shooting at the stars
but the kids were just shooting at the buses and the cars
so don't drink the water, don't you breathe the air
and if it's gotten to that point then I have to declare
that you

please bury me
with it
please bury me
with it

Spitting Venom (my song lyric for every Hetalia angst)
Hold on to what you need
we got a knack for
fucked up history

moodyness, music
