Hey y'all. Here's a wonderful update for everyone.
I got back home to Kansas okay. Things have been nuts. Nothing too spectacular but I still feel like everything is moving way too fast. It hasn't really sunk in yet that I am not going back to Valdosta anytime soon. I am sure when I get to that point, I will crash for a while. I miss everyone so much already. I never imagined what it would be like to pack up and leave mid-semester and not have everyone within drivin distance. It really hurts actually. I never knew that I could miss people like this. And, I guess there were a lot of things that happened in my last few days down there that I wish I could fix, or change or take back completely. But, I can't, and now I have to live with it all. You know?
I have hung out with a couple of the only friends I have left up here. Got some kick ass barbeque! I will have to send some to all you Valdosta folks who don't know what real BBQ is... ;) Hung out at the bars in Lawrence on my birthday. Got hit on by some random guy from Pitt State who came up and started talking to me b/c the only long sleeve shirt I had clean and not packed in a box was a Valdosta State tee. So, he ended up flirting with me and Kris all night and talking to me the entire time about football and basketball. Geeze! Drunk dialed way too many people last night. OoPs! Oh well.
I am also freezing my ass off up here. It has been sleeting off and on since last night and it is supposed to start snowing tomorrow sometime. I am so not used to this weather anymore. I need like heavier clothes. Yikes!
And, I think that's about all. Oh, I do have a job already lined up. I am going to go into a temp agency tomorrow though and check some more places out. I am kinda leaning toward a desk job. But for now, I can handle where I'm gonna work...
