Motor City Kitty #13
$1/32 pages/ Quarter size
by Bri

Bri writes, "there's also the constant struggle to feel validated in my emotions, and learning how to really love myself. i want to learn to not be so dependent on the physical presence of another-to feel happy safe, warm on my own."

She sets the zine in motion with her thoughts on consistently being in a relationship and then deciding to go on a dating strike. After the strike ceases, a string of summer romances commence. Bri includes three therapeutic letters that she wrote to help her deal with issues she feels arose from the summer romances. Bri also writes about gender identity, queer (in)visibility and a wonderful list of things she wants to do.
