The subpoenas are flying, and we're naming names. The court documents don't show individual users' real names. They do show file-sharing network user names, the user's ISP, the user's IP address, and a sampling of copyright songs the user allegedly made available for download. To date, many ISPs have been contacted, including Pac Bell Internet, SBC

i stick to newsgroups, bit torrents and hotline. i run a huge file/chat server so i have a circle of friends with private servers and people that upload to me. i find everything i need like that, i wont be using p2p progs anymore. it is seriously fucked up and not worth getting into shit over... damn the RIAA and the MPAA. i block their ips anyway (check out a program called peer guardian). i get hit every day on bit torrents, but they get blocked.
they can never put an end to the types of programs i use for file sharing (except maybe bit torrents), there is no central server hooking people up.. its just me to you. way cooler that way, and you really get to know the people your dealing with.

Sounds great, music sharing will never die its too wide spread and you can't stop anything on the internet, even with bully tactics.

I'll have to check out your server some day. thx for the advice on the prog i'll look into it, if i can get a list of their ips i can block them on my firewall.

well it comes with the ips already entered.. however there are some sites you can go to to update the ip's as they do change them sometimes. if you want, i can put the program and the links you need, online on my ftp for you to dl :) let me know...
