Thanksgiving and Weekend Recap
Hey ladies. Attempting my 2nd post on LJ :)
Anywho Thanksgiving was really nice but also low key. We decided to go to my dad's that Saturday instead of TGiving as my mom got up really early to start cooking and then she would of been just exhausted to go after we ate. It would of been kind of alot. So on that note I wore my very comfy VS Velour Jumpsuit in brown of course ;) and it was kind of nice not to get all dressed up since we were staying home.
So I helped my mom with whatever I could as she did most of the cooking and I helped heehee. We ate around 3:00 or so which was good timing and just got to talking a bit and relax.
All in all we had a nice day and kind of sad to see it go. Now on to Xmas lol
Friday we got up about 930 or so and really didn't have any plans. We did decide to go to the mall for a bit as I didn't want to stay that long since it would be mobbed but he wanted to look at sneakers but really didn't see anything he liked. We will prob go to Modell's in a couple weeks and see what they have. After the mall we just came home and chilled out for the day. It sure felt good to just be mellow heehee. All we did was watch some TV, I did a bit of decorating, and that was it. It was a lazy day for us.
Saturday we got up around same time and I had to do some cleaning and laundry as I didn't want to do it all on Sunday so I got alot of that out of the way. Other than that we went to my dad's around 4:00 or so and were there till about 545 and just came home. We were thinking about going out to eat but decided not to as I wasn't really feeling up to it. We just had some dinner about 7:00 or so and watched TV the rest of the night and crashed about 10:00 or so.
Sunday we got up pretty early and I did a few more loads of laundry. We had to run a couple errands and then me and mom went in the afternoon to Macy's and I got my [b]Northface Fleece Jacket[/b] :D I was so happy. Of course I have to wait till Xmas to get it but glad my mom got it for me. SHe got a discount on it too so that was good. heehee.
I sure cant wait though to wear it as it was very comfy when I tried it on. Now I finally will have my casual outerwear heehee.
After Macy's we browsed the mall a bit and I saw the NY Rangers Lundqvist Jersey Sean wants and I willl prob get it for him for Xmas. I am going to try and go back on Thursday after WW since the mall is right there but Ill see how I feel. IF not then, then hopefully in the next couple weeks but have to be discreet lol So after the mall we just came back home and mom had to go to my Gmas and I just hung with SEan the rest of the afternoon watching some T.V. and I went on the comp for a bit as he did play one of his games on PS2. He loves that thing! Before we knew it, it was 9:30 or so and off to bed we went and I had a great feeling of not having to go to work heehee.
Monday I was off from work and I got up early as I had to go the DMV to renew my registration which is up next month and luckily I was in and out cause I got there about 845 or so so I was relieved. After that I went home and relaxed since I got up early and Sean was up watching some TV so we just had some coffee and chilled. Well the time has come he has said to get a new Coffee Machine as he felt the last few times the coffee was watered down and since we had it for 3 years and use it almost every day it was going.
So off to Macy's we went I would say bout 12:00 or so. We wanted to try and get the same brand which is [b]Krups[/b] and we did get lucky and found a nice one.
It is a good size and simple just like we wanted. heehee. We found it pretty quick so that was good. We tried it out yesterday afternoon and the coffee did taste a bit better but either way I think we were due. Hopefully this will last a long time. After Macy's we headed to shopright and got a few groceries for the week that we needed and came home about 3:00 or so. I was on and off the computer and Sean played his games a bit and watched some TV.
I decided I wanted to get something new to wear for Xmas this year as I would like to wear the black pants I have and I got a sweater from VS online last night but in red.
I really wanted it in green but that color is backordered until 12/25 so didnt want to take a chance and red one I got is on BO until 12/5 so that is better. It looks really comfortable and it isnt too fancy. I just need a tanktop for under it so will try and look around in the next couple weeks for one. I dont want anything expensive so have to research.
So before we knew it, it was aready dinner time and we ate about 630 or so. I got a few pieces of grilled chicken from the deli by me and Sead had some leftover tortellini from Sunday night. I really still couldnt believe fast the day went and the rest of the holiday weekend.
So that was it. It was again nice to have that time off and chill out as much as possible.
