Well, Saturday I had induction: 7 hours of sitting in a room hearing about company policies. I get paid for it so what the hey.
Last night was supposed to be my training shift. However, essentially all telecommunications (including banking machines) went out last night midway through the shift. So the supervisor who was supposed to be training us got called away heaps of times. After leaving us standing in a closed checkout for nearly an hour, she sent us home early and wants us to come back today. So I have not actually worked yet, but tomorrow's pay will have about 15 hours of being paid for showing up. Yay me!
