If you were wondering (all one of you) about the progress of my tale/novel/whatever; well, there's been none in 4 months. I hit a lull, focusing more on other real life matters. That being said, I'm getting the itch to continue. I had started Chapter Two before I went on this hiatus, mind you. So, as a teaser I offer up
the start of said chapter. There's not much there, but it should be enough to whet one's whistle. Much like getting back into the routine of the 5BX exercise regimen (10 minutes daily), I need to get back into the routine of exercising my brain 15 minutes daily.
Maybe it's autumn working on me. This time of year always gets my creative juices flowing.
Edited to add that I tacked on about five hundred words to Chapter Two after I posted this. It didn't take long for me to re-immerse myself in the setting. I could feel the characters and the world, if that makes sense. It was a case of "Oh yes; he's like that" or "I need to get them from here to here, so what's along the way" and so forth.
