Driving home tonight, I passed a green cab parked at the corner of City Hall Park, presumably waiting for a passenger (although I doubt there are many passengers to be had at 1 a.m. on a Monday in Burlington). While waiting at the traffic light, I glanced over and noticed that the cab driver was playing a trumpet. This both delights and amuses me.
In other news, I will be conducting my first ever off-campus admissions interview as an alumni volunteer next week. I'm a little nervous... Is it weird for the interviewer to be nervous before an interview? Have any of you ever done this? Or do you remember anything about your own admissions interviews? Swarthmore has provided me with some guidelines and suggestions, of course, but I'm afraid I'm going to run out of things to ask.
