skipping work like skipping school
to enjoy sumptious food in
empty restaurants dreaming
about the world we want to live in.

tonight i feel small
like a little girl
with soft hands
touching the face of
a dream
that keeps the
night sky
warm and the
stars singing.

Stop dancing to and fro in circles
Tip-toeing in the dark
You'll make a mess of your souls
And you'll struggle with starting over.

I am no longer amused with
Seeming ignorance because I know
That awareness does not escape you
But you play with possibilities
With your eyes closed
As if it were raindrops you were
Catching upon your tongue.
