extra sperm
i'm fairly sure my house is growing piles of things that need to be packed. things i have never seen before.
this is something interesting i have read about, which for some reason made me think of something jude might write about, but it's fairly interesting in general.
so there are groups of isolated people in little villages who believe in...what's the word...mulitple paternity(?). they believe that if a pregnant woman sleeps around then the other men sorta add to the baby. they are all a father to this baby. in that he's got jacks eyes, and jim's nose, and elliot's hair sorta way. the theory is this may have been started by the women at some point and it benefits them because if the actual father dies these other dudes are expected to bring over some meat every now in then. it ensures the life of the kid. the woman is only "allowed" to sleep around when she is pregnant. the men get jealous if she does it at other times but not while she's pregnant. anything goes at that point.
