Anyway, I've been drawing again at the computer. I've got some unscanned doodles laying around, but I really... don't feel like scanning for I am lazy, so here you go, hideous digitalized non-wasteful (for lack of useage of paper) shitdoodles!
So, some people who check out monsterward or people who roleplay with me (OR BOTH...) might recognize one little guy out of these, Rufus (utilizable). He's actually a revamp of a revamp of a revamp and so is the story he's involved in. Whoop whoop. So here are the main characters of the story!

So, meet Joe - who used to be Jo, short for Joan. Yes, that's right, Joe used to be a girl! Mysterious girl with curly white hair and all your usual clichés, but once I made that journal for Rufus, I began to rewrite the whole story and so Joan became Joe. He's exactly what the it says, a pirate with a taste for adventure and a liking for shiny treasure. He's actually the main character! And, yeah, I know, the resemblance to Jim from Disney's Treasure Island is there, but it was actually pretty unconscious. Also, no, I didn't forget to colour his eye. He's blind of that eye since he was a baby boy. He also uses a little knife. But just because he needs to cut ropes mostly, he tends to be a puncher!

The obligatory redhead of every story! Some of you already know him; the boy genius with a fertile imagination and with a dream of soaring the skies. He never imagined that his dream would come true until Joe ended up in his grandmother's garage to fix his airship! Seeing great potential for adventure in the young pirate (he didn't know he was a pirate at the time), Rufus ends up sneaking the night before Joe picks up his repaired airship. He's a pretty normal boy, though a bit of a geek with his whole ideas for new junk. Everything is utilizable for him! And also, he wears jumpers or whatever the fuck you call this and I hate myself for it.

Of course, the old scruffy guy is a must. He has taken care of Joe since he was a wee lad and basically follows the guy around. THERE'S SOME KIND OF CURSE IN THAT AIRSHIP BECAUSE MARTIN IS MISSING AN EYE TOO!? Oops. Anyway, he's a pretty cool guy and don't get scared just because he's missing a tooth or two and has a big bad scar and a lot of tattoos, he's the pacifist of the group, but he packs a mean punch if he needs to. He's also the cook. He makes some mean cloudfish, but don't get him started. He's pretty proud of his cooking skills. His whole body is covered with tattoos and scars and basically all that a pirate should proudly wear. He's also naked because I haven't decided on an outfit for him, but it'll be probably something super simple. Aprons will be involved. Yes, he does wear an eyepatch.

And finally, the girl. Sjrk is pronounced "ser-ka". I wanted a name with only vowels because I'm an ass. Hurr durr. Anyway, she's running away from something, but she ain't telling what - that's why she ends up joining the boys. Her gun is basically a really old relic from her ancestors, she doesn't actually use it. Just picture a super rusty revolver, it's sort of the image. Still works though. You can't actually see it because it's on the other side, but she has a little spot below her lips.
I kind of miss writing original concepts, to be honest. Lately all I write is either college or firefighting notes, yikes. Someone hand me over a pen and paper and free time.
