procrastination ahoy! (and 2<3 thoughts)
Ohisashiburi! It's been so soo long since I last posted something.. didn't actually think I was ever gonna write something again. haha
Been wanting to start a new project but for the life of me I can't get myself to actually start it.
Really, why is starting something always the hardest thing everrrr??
Finally watched Kame's Second Love, and I'm not sure if I'm digging the story yet (although all the hadaka Kame visuals are absolute killers to my sanity heh). There's something about the plot that doesn't attract me, it just seems a bit too forward and unrealistic even for love at first sight. And I have major problems with Fukada's acting and character. I find her rather expressionless, be it when she's interacting with her students or her mom or namase-san's character or Kei. And there doesn't seem to be any chemistry between her and Kame even in the "erotic" scenes; Kei is kissing her like whoa and she doesn't even move her lips. Boring much?
Perhaps because I dance myself (even if it's a different kind of dance), I'm not yet impressed by Kame's dance scenes unfortunately, and I think it's partly due to the choreography (and partly his technique? heh). He has some impressive moves, but the choreography so far doesn't really showcase it well, even if he's supposed to be a contemporary dancer. I'm looking forward to more dance scenes though, and hoping they'd give him a more serious/ stage-worthy dance choreography/scene somewhere down the road. Would love to see his capabilities as a dancer :D
Think I'd probably give this drama a few more episodes to see how it goes, but if it's still as meh after a few eps I guess I'll just go the Tokyo Bandwagon route and watch it just for Kame. The things we do for Mr. Turtle here... hehe :P
