So I'm in between and can't get a hook into anything that I'm trying to write. Happens.
And I was looking at the little sequely type thingies, and was reminded of how helpful it was in snapping out of a similiar state.

What happened first?
I have this sense, oft-times, of a backstory, which is hinted at or alluded to or otherwise redundantly mentioned in the abstract, and I try to tie it together with whatever the current story is about, and I don't know, it's probably successful some of the time and not so others.
Which of them would you like to know? Have at it.
