yeah, but when they do win, once every twenty years or so (you're coming up on another one, dude), it's all incredible and stuff. and, like, the giants haven't won a WS since before the mets even existed, so i am obviously down with getting my heart broken.
Thats true but they only get to the playoffs about every ten years or so. But yeah I can see your point and I think once you become a baseball fan broken hearts become part of the deal.
Sounds like you had an excellent time! I'm jealous. It seems everytime I go into NYC I have a trip that blows like flatulent cattle...I must be cursed or something. So tell me why you like Joe Blanton. (this is NOT a sarcastic question, BTW. I am genuinely curious.)
The hair is priceless. Priceless, I tell you. Somehow it warms my heart that his pudginess is a plus to you. See, I am also on the pudgy side. We get little love these days. Hey--he could be my long-lost blond haired twin (from Kentucky)...except with the ability to actually, like, play baseball! *remains silent about his utter lack of athletic ability* Um. Going away now...
never been to nyc. never wanted to, swear to god. maybe it's just that i'm not a kid of the concrete, or maybe it's just that i don't believe that anything on that side of the country can do anything better than the one i'm on.
sometimes i feel like i should've gone far away for college, just to say i'd been and know the differences. but then, i wouldn't be alive right now, so i guess sometimes things work out.
i'm glad you got lost and watched baseball and spent time with good people. there is no better way to spend a week.
okay, honestly. what is your icon trying to do to me! not even close to fair, yo.
going away to college was necessary (actually, by putting teh continent between me and my dealer, it likely saved my life), but i'm done with that now. you can rest assured that you made the right choice.
nah, she had it all ready for him. i was just all, dude, we're allowed to DO that? i'd really, really like to know if it works, man. save myself so much stalking time.
you wondered if huston knows how to write and i laughed maniacally, thinking of that scene from wayne's world when wayne goes, 'i never learned to reeeeead!' and it's hilarious.

I wonder, does Huston know how to write? Was there a Sharpie involved in this trade?
*kicking your LJ's server for doing maintenance while I'm trying to comment!*
