I'm here to express my boundless JOY over the fact that you wrote for this show. And now I'm off to bed 'cause it's 4 am, I've just got back home and I'm practically dead and unable to even focus on the screen.

Gushing about the fic tomorrow. ♥

ETA: you did it again! This is lovely. :D Sherlock wrapping his scarf around John's neck really got me from the start.

John's tremendous hero worship was adorable and really not so different from what we see in the show (oh, show, how so perfect?) and now I feel like I NEED MORE SHERLOCK LIKE I NEED AIR.

PS: aren't the two actors fabulous? And Lestrade? And EVERYONE, REALLY? This show is going to eat my brain.

the enthusiasm! i love it, and wholly concur. show is dangerously good, the actors are both endearing beyond reason (tim from the office! who is not secretly in love with tim from the office?), the fandom is already ginormous and everybody's so excited--these early days are just lovely.

and, thanks! both for the comment and for being awesome as a general rule.

I'm keeping a notepad file open just to write about this as I read it. God, it's lovely. So understatedly eloquent and just <3. Speaking in paragraphs, yes, that's so -right-, and 'Everything interesting had already happened today.' is just too perfect for that kind of evening, Sherlock having gravity (Immoveable objects and irresistible forces spring to mind), decimating smiles, and then him -noticing-. aaaaand that ending, and I think you've basically compiled all my favourite tropes and phrasings and just -things-.

Eeeeeek. <3

thank you! very kind of you to say. i feel like there's a whole fic in that 'everything interesting had already happened' kinda mood (oh, but everything feels like a potential fic in the first blush).

Hi, I was just reading some of your other Holmes fic a few days ago and wishing you wrote for the BBCverse too -- and lo and behold, the fandom gods have smiled upon me! :D Lovely story, a perfect addition to this bright 'n' shiny new show... and that ending... I may just be madly in love with your writing, but there is definitely sequel potential to this imho :D

Okay, just wanted to de-lurk to tell you this fic was awesome! Much enjoyed!

anyway, thanks for reading adn leaving such a nice note. usually i am not much for sequels, but new stuff is always in the works, fo sho.

Oh, I am so pleased that you're writing for this show. I was desperately hoping you would.

This was excellent. Perfect Sherlock and John.
