Hi. I’m new here (found the link on your page at FanFiction.Net a few days ago).
I just have to say that I worship your Holmes & Watson stories, each and every one of them. Aren’t they just incredibly fascinating? You’ve managed to capture the tremendous chemistry between the two, not to mention that the way you write is stunning.

I particularly like ‘This Day to the Ending of the World ’. The fact that you dug deep in the good doctor’s past is very endearing, and you did it in style - I don’t think I’ve ever seen Watson this attractive before, honestly.

And of course, ‘Mistakes of Our Youth’ is my favorite so far. Poor old Holmes, he was so in love. I am such a sucker for this sort of “seemingly unbreakable tough guy with secretive weakness” feeling. After all, it’s the vices and weakness that makes Holmes human. The detective in this story, the most brilliant mind as he was, was hurt repeatedly because he couldn’t help falling for his dear friend, and couldn’t get over his affection even after years. Yes, they finally managed to make things seem to be what they used to be. But deep down, Holmes was never able to get over the six short months. Deep down, it was likely that Holmes never really thought those so-called mistakes were mistakes. When Watson moved on to his second great love, Holmes was still stuck in the distant past.
The ending scene left me incoherent. “I am drinking to the men we once were, and to the mistakes of our youth--God bless them, every one.” Heartbreaking, that’s what it is. HEARTBREAKING!
I wonder how Holmes could tough it out in the upcoming years (and it was actually quite a long time) until Watson moved back to their apartment in Baker Street again. And I wonder how Watson would feel when he found the letter Holmes left for him at the Reichenbach Fall. Is there any chance that there will be a sequel to this story?

I’m not certain whether I read the story in the right way or not, and I might have made several grammatical mistakes in my sentences. Well in that case please pardon me since English is not my native language.

Once again, please accept my sincere admiration. I love your Holmes & Watson stories. More, please!!!

P.S. Will it be asking too much that I friend you? You don’t have to bother to friend me back, it’s just that I want to find an easier way to enter your livejournal.
