Yay! I've wanted a sequel to "Gone Again" so badly, for so long. This was awesome and just the perfect way to end it. Thank you!

hee, i used to give blood on a regular basis until i started showing up as mildly anemic on the pre-test, but i never did find a place that would pay me for it. i would be all over that, because what good is this blood doing me now?

anyway, i hope you like it! lightheaded and blood-deprived is probably a great mindset to be in for it, too.

This is seriously exactly what I needed right now. The prequels to this have always nagged at me - mostly when I sit down to write something of my own - and I thought they were perfect as is, but this makes them better. Sometimes you don't need a happy ending, but you need the least unhappy ending possible, if that makes sense. This is that.

it makes perfect sense! i was asked for a happy ending sequel to 'gone again' and i was like, um. i can probably scale it back from being suicidally depressing to, like, only homicidally depressing, but no further! anyway, glad you liked it, thanks for the note.

"It's killing you, right? It's killing me. No matter what you do, right? No matter how far apart, or how close. I think it's gonna kill us either way, so let's just. Let's at least be in the same place until that happens."

Jesus, this is just perfect. I wasn't sure it was possible to end this universe with them together and together, but you found a way, and this is so believable and so hopeful and heartbreaking at the same time and just so goddamn gorgeous.

thanks, dude, you know it means a lot. i was kind of rushing the end of it (wrote it on a plane!), and a bit worried that it be too abrupt, but that particular line of sam's convinced me it was legit to end it where it was. because really, how do you hear that and then turn him down?

Gone Again made such perfect sense I thought, this can't work through my excitement, but it does! It works AWE. SOME, fucking a. Beautiful stuff, and I am so happy -- well and I mean, it's fucked up and all but anyway -- that they get this ending.

thanks man! i was a bit worried because i did feel like 'gone again' ended the only way it could have, but as soon as i got into sam's head again i realized there was so much more fucked-upedness to explore. like, vast continents of it.
