I'm awed at the amount of fic you wrote. And thanks for this, I was hoping you'd make a master list someday.
DAMN, YOU MAKE ME WISH I WAS INTO BASEBALL RPS.

You are evil, enabling me with your icon and all! It's just...I don't know any of these players, and when I read Mulder I think of Fox Mulder. That would probably make my reading a different experience :)

Oh, I didn't know any of the players when I started reading, either.

Ah, but without this *points up* I would have only had the Astros, and though some will argue, hometown ties are not enough when your whole childhood was made out of, "don't care about those guys, because they will only break your heart." Because now, with this fucking Ed Wade character, I have nothing left but a first baseman and a pitcher and knowing that both of those guys would waive their no-trade clauses to get the hell outta town is ... well, heartbreaking. Shoulda listened to my mother.

And while Beane breaks hearts, there's at least the pretty boys who keep showing up and better yet, the feeling that at any moment, this could be a good team again. Here's to blind hope and hopeless devotion, and also to convincing more girls that baseball is the way to go, for whatever reason and using whatever impetus.

the amount of fic i wrote was what kept me from making the master list, dontcha know. but i buckled right down!

also! GET INTO BASEBALL RPS. my number one goal in life is to get people into baseball, and i've found that "look pretty boys! look pretty boys making out!" generally works wonders. i'd actually recommend just starting at the beginning, though they're not my favorite stories quality-wise, they are less deeply entrenched in the inner dynamics and politics of the team than later fics. this is all very exciting.
