and i totally agree that they should get a parade sometime! dean would love that. sam would be so mortified by him, it'd be fabulous. also, nobody noticing the impala requires such a suspension of disbelief on my part because i could not be less into cars, but if the impala went by, even i would be like, goddamn that is a hot car, and totally be able to describe it to the cops and everything.

anyway, i like that ERB story you tell, but you know, i do it for love not money. although i do need money, so who knows.

so, i totally snickered to hear you talk about the umbrellas, because i literally had half of that first rain scene written before i realized, why are they running around in the rain instead of buying umbrellas like normal people? the answer, of course, being: winchesters. but then i was like, it rains every day all day, they would have acquired 'brellas. cheap umbrellas that break, so that dean can slip and fall on his ass. anyway, you are right, it is just a weird picture. like if they wore shiny rain slickers or something.

also, american candy! good god, i don't know what i would do without reese's, they are like the foundation of my diet. you've been out of the loop, there've been all these advances in reese's technology. you can get reese's sticks, and whipped reese's, and reese's fastbreaks, and reese's with white or dark chocolate (which i find blasphemous, but to each his own). dude. reese's. love it.
