I have an interview at Hill Barth & King next Tuesday. I'm so excited! I guess it really is true that you should take advantage of job fairs and company tours. Of course I'm probably getting excited over nothing, but it would be so cool if they did hire me as in intern for the spring. The one girl I talked to said she made $13 an hour as an intern, and that was 2 years ago. And if they pay their interns that much I can't even imagine what they start their employees off at. They also pay 1/2 of tuition for their employees to reach the 150 hour requirement for the CPA exam. This could possibly be things turning around for me. Wednesday night is a social where I'll get to mingle with some of the local accounting firms so maybe I can make a good impression on the guy that will be interviewing me so I have a better chance of getting the job. Fingers crossed!
