I think drabbles are so hard for me because I want to give more detail and really dig into the story, so I'm always amazed when I can get a point across in 300 words or less. haha. You always help me see that when I doubt myself because you get so excited when you read these. I love you for that, and many other things my bestie. *hugs you*

I missed Colby so much! It felt... natural, organic to write him again. And, who would I be if I didn't sneak in at least ONE mention of high school sweetheart Callie. LOL. They are kind of my favorite. I blame thank you for all of it. :)

hehe. I liked that line too and wanted to focus more on it, but... the muse took me somewhere else. I didn't mind. As long as she's working and not drinking by a pool somewhere, I let her get away with whatever she wants.

It's not the "by the pool" that's the problem. It's the "drinking" that is the problem. She's a lush. And she gets distracted easily by towel boys. *shakes my head It's a wonder I get any writing done at all.

You're too kind, but I thank you. Drabbles are hard for so many reasons... especially for someone like me who is incapable of telling a story in less than 300 words. haha. So, it means a lot to read that I've conveyed both sorrow and regret but the hopeful reminder of life. That's exactly what I was going for because I like a happy ending. LOL.
