After seeing the dinner scene where Colby brings David as his date in Friendly Fire, I just had to write the alternate scene. What IF Nikki had never asked Jordan to be her date? What if she'd asked Ian and he'd shown up? What would Colby and David have to say then? I hope you had as much fun reading this as I had writing it.
