Notes/Warnings: This drabble was inspired by "Snow Song" by The District. While I was at it, I sneaked in my opinion about Claudia's location - it served the purpose. I hope you enjoy. :)

She'd never seen snow... not growing up in south El Paso, and not after moving to LA. She'd never seen snow... until he'd taken her to New York.
She remembered watching, eyes open wide as the flakes danced across the sky - steadily gaining momentum, drifting over the world until coming to rest on the earth or the nearest passerby.
She'd never seen anything more beautiful as the snowflakes fell against the window in front of her, pressing against the glass to reveal unique crystalline designs for one perfect moment before melting and trickling down... leaving only a trail of droplets for other snowflakes to follow.
This was his gift to her, he smiled as he took her hand and led her outside. Snowflakes kissed her lashes and her cheeks then her lips, before he stopped walking... and in the middle of a crowded street, pulled her closer - kissing each place the snowflakes had fallen.
She watched now as snowflakes fell outside her DC apartment. Two years had passed since that Christmas. Almost two years had gone by since she'd seen him or even spoken to him.
But every time it snowed, she thought of him... and every time - she smiled.
