I attempted the Herculan Labour Challenge: each of your graphics must focus on Spring & Fertility and Negative Space.
I chose to make "Tree of Life"-icons because I can't think of a movie or tv show that is more fitting for the theme Spring & Fertility, as it deals with the essence of Spring and fertility - life itself. I hope the Spring theme is clear even if you don't know the movie. I was mostly inspired by Jessica Chastain's angelic performance of the Mother, who, in my opinion, represents everything positive that spring and fertility stand for.
Either way, you should watch this movie, because it's one of the most creative, breathtakingly beautiful, thought-provoking and utterly poetic movie I've ever seen.

Since the icons for the a_mused challenge were all negative space I used a lot of close crops here. I love how these two completely unrelated challenges complement each other. :)
Anyway, this was more difficult than I thought it would be, because a) I really struggled defining emotions in actual screencaps, so a lot of these are more representative of the defining emotion of a character, rather than the specific emotion in a screencap. And b) because, oh god, I really have like 2 happy screencaps saved. I wanted to have some positive emotions in there too and it was almost impossible to find in the masses of sad screencaps. ~Feels. I have them. The sadder the better. xD
