THINGS! I should post more often so the things don't happen all at once. My bad.

• Ugh, I love Doctor Who so much. Fell in love with Oswin instantly as did the rest of the internet, it seems. Rory is still my fav 5ever. Oh, Ponds. Communication is key! And I still love the daleks. My mind is buzzing with the theories and meta I've read so far and my own thoughts, but it's too soon for me to start posting it all. But I am definitely game for the rest of the season - bring it on!
  
• I am participating in GISHWHES this year! I am SUPER EXCITED though I have no idea what to expect.
  
• I watched all 10 seasons of Stargate SG-1 in the month of August (& made a ton of gifs), and now I'm working on Stargate Atlantis, finishing S1 tonight. It's good stuff! Do I still have anyone around who used to be in that fandom? I know there were a lot back in the day... I'd love to chat about it sometime since I've finally caught up (or almost)! :P And I'll probably be looking for fic recs too... :D?
  
• SHOWS! Shows coming back! Downton Abbey starts series 3 on 9/16, and all the American shows are revving back up! I have watched the pre-air for The New Normal pilot, which I adored, and I've acquired Elementary & just haven't had time to watch it yet. Fandom reaction seems to be very positive though, which makes me happy.

• Starting now, my weekend schedule starts being very busy. I have at least one something each weekend until 2013. Mostly fun stuff, though, so no complaints. Events include: trip to Universal (Wizarding World!), visit from reinventweather, Renaissance Festival, Geek Gala (aka Halloween party), trip to Charleston, plus a whole bunch of Christmas-themed shows in Charlotte. Huzzah!
