War of the Worlds was a good movie to me...despite the fact that I had to hush some dumb ass broads...giggling with no damn joke in the fucking movie...other than that, it was wonderful. I had fun...I went with my best friend of so many years. I think the next time I see lightning I'll duck and doge it. LOL...
If you want a preview then keep reading...if not, then don't read it...that simple. I don't tell the end...just give an overview about the plot (it's all in bold):
Well it was where Tom Cruise has to watch his kids for a day...he and his babys momma are separated and the kids dont really like him too well because they dont really know him like that and they have grown closeer to their stepfather and then something different happens..electroshocks...earthquakes...and such...and come to find out these machines have been buried for centuries (eons) and the electro shocks transported aliens as the electroshocks struck underneath the surface and began controlling the machines...
It looks like the end of the world and the alien things kill off the humans, so tom cruise has to protect his children and at the same time grow closer to them in the process....and he seems like the only one who is putting up a fight against them and trying to get rid of them.
Overall, the movie was really good. A lot of action and riveting things that occur throughout the movie...also the beginning is dominated by slick sarcasm from all characters...which enables one to feel comfortable and what not.
I give the movie two thumbs up!
Next movie on my list is Dark Water...
