Avonlea had her six-month appointment yesterday. The office was FULL and we had to wait over an hour to get in. We usually get in in less than ten minutes, so this was not pleasant. Anyway, my baby weighs 12lbs, 8oz and is 24.5 inches. She's in the fifth percentile for her weight, tenth for length and FIFTIETH FOR HER HEAD. We're being sent to a pediatrician because she had been gaining a pound a month and had been around the tenth percentile, but last month I started her on cereal and she still drinks the same amount of breastmilk, and she only gained half a pound! So he said if I put her on formula it'll probably beef her up, but he doesn't want to encourage that if I want to keep feeding her the "good stuff" so he wants me to see a ped and just make sure things are okay. Tiny baby! there was a newborn there and she weighed 9lbs! Grow, Avonlea, grow!
Josiah's enjoying his summer off. He had a game last night a few towns away, (baseball) but we couldn't make it because ben had to work late, so we'll just make it to practice tonight.
Anyway, i'm going to go do some stuff. We were at my friend's last night until midnight, so the baby is still asleep and I have plenty I could be doing :)
