for anyone who has read Cats Cradle by kurt vonnegut, you understand the idea of a 'karass'. Its basically a form of eastern philosophy expressed to describe anyone that enters or exits in your life at any time. For instance someone you are really close with is in your karass, as well as the woman you made eye contact with on the bus, or perhaps even your favorite author, etc etc. It is an interconnected circle that is completely relative to the individual.
it is a wonderfully calming feeling to think in this fashion. Life seems a little bit less random when you begin to look at it in that way. Perhaps everyone that comes into our life is supposed to be there for a certain amount of time, and then leave. Maybe life isn't as tragic as everyone makes it out to be.
